Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Area Development Fund
The Friends of Cheyenne Cañon announce the formation of the Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Area Development Fund. Established as a Designated Fund administered by the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, the Fund will provide charitable distributions for the sole benefit of the Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Area.

The City of Colorado Springs and The Friends of Cheyenne Cañon foresee the need for a new Visitor’s Center and expanded parking and landscaping surrounding Helen Hunt Falls. The popularity of North Cheyenne Cañon Park has increased the wear and tear on the Visitor’s Center and the surrounding area. Discussions with the City of Colorado Springs, the Friends of Cheyenne Canon, and the public will determine expansion plans for the area.

The Friends of Cheyenne Cañon are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural, scenic and historic resources of North Cheyenne Cañon. For more information about membership in the Friends of Cheyenne Cañon or to volunteer, call (719) 385-6086 or visit www.cheyennecanon.org.
