| One of the more popular days for the campers is Ute the Tipi raising. After carrying the tipi materials to a campsite, they construct the 15' Ute style tipi with guidance from knowledgeable instructors. Once assembled, the campers handle Ute artifacts as they explore daily life in and around the tipi. Some of the activities include painting with yucca fronds, beading a glass friendship bracelet and completing their experience as they join a Friendship Dance to the beat of a buffalo hide drum. | ||
