Fundraising/Advocacy
Fundraising:
Colorado Springs taxes are very low and parks are sparsely funded.
We do not advocate increased taxes; rather, we raise funds to continue our efforts.
Here is a partial list of efforts supported through fund raising:
-Environmental Education for children and adults
-Maintenance of trails in the Cañon
-Funding annual environmental events in the Cañon
-Preservation and enhancement of the Cañon
No special skills are required, just a desire to assist in continuing to make the Cañon an environmental gem.

This entails working with City officials, businesses and service groups to promote
the Cañon.
